Rainlendar is a must-have desktop calendar application.

27703.jpgIf you already have a desktop calendar application, and it isn’t Rainlendar, please go and download it now. It is by far, the best one yet. I have to admit one of the reasons why I like it so much, is that there are so many cute skins, and its so easy to use. Another cool feature that comes in handy, especially when you have an overwhelming messy desktop is that you can control its transparency. In addition, Rainlendar keeps you very organized with a To Do list window and an Event window. And with only a right click away, hovering, and 2 more clicks, both windows will be out of your sight completely. To add an appointment, just simply click on the date, and a window will pop up. Oooh and for appointment dates, there will be a circle or a different color to it, depending on how you set your preferences. Rainlendar, also comes in different languages. Here are some shots of the different costumized skins of rainlendar:

Swapping products at www.MakeupAlley.com

Makeup alleyHave you ever bought a lipstick and thought that color would’ve been completely perfect on you, until you came home and tried it again, and it looked completely horrifying and regretted ever making that purchase or screaming at that sales lady who persuaded you on what you thought was a great buy? Well, if you are a victim, here’s a great website for you: http://makeupalley.com/ This website shows you billions of reviews on any beauty products, you could imagine. Oh even better, you know those super old school lipstick colors and eyeliners you’re just dying to get rid of, just lying there collecting dust in your drawers? MakeupAlley has this function where you could actually swap any older products you’re not using with other girls who are probably looking for something you don’t want. Just make sure everything is super clean once you get it. No experience yet swapping anything… Anyhow, here’s some more information from their site:

MakeupAlley was launched in 1999 as a small community of beauty consumers. Since then, it has grown into one of the largest beauty social networks on the web today. MakeupAlley is a buzzing interactive community reaching women around the globe with millions of page views each day. On MakeupAlley you’ll find millions of member generated product reviews, message board posts, shopping diaries, product trades and member photo pages covering topics such as makeup, hair care, fragrance, fashion, food, skin care, bath & body, fitness, wedding, nails, and & other topics of the day. No matter where or when you are on MakeupAlley, you’ll find real-time information and advice relevant to your needs.

I hope you enjoy!=D For those who kind of just skimmed through this here’s another link:

One thing missing from their website is more photos….just kind of boring! Like if I wanted to buy nail polishes, why would I want to read the reviews on it, if I don’t even know how the color looks right? It just doesn’t make any sense. =(
